Two mana for +2/+2 isn't great when you're spreading it around a group of creatures. The much more mana-efficient strategy would be a Voltron deck that intends to primarily pump Kaseto herself. #3 Nov 2, 2015 Weebos View User Profile View Posts Send Message Plural Join Date: 6/17/2009 Posts: 1,745 Member Details I really like Kaseto, but I'm not sure he is better than Seshiro the Anointed for snake tribal.Seshiro turns all your crappy snakes into beefy Ophidians, and they get to do damage. Not sure if adding the handful of blue snakes is worth not consistently having Seshiro available. That said, I will probably still use Kaseto for fun. Late game you have the mana to end things quickly. #12 Nov 2, 2015 Also, curving T2 Blight Mamba, T3 general, T4 pump, T5 pump and kill, seems decent. 2025-04-21Make interesting UG infect general. Don't forget, he gives unblockable for 2 mana. Sure, only snakes gets +2/+2, but he is in great ramp, draw, control, proliferate colors... Let's hope they print some valueable infect creatures. Also for the tribal things, Chameleon Colossus with unblockable and +2/+2 will hurt a lot. #6 Nov 2, 2015 He could make interesting UG infect general. Don't forget, he gives unblockable for 2 mana. Also for the tribal things, Chameleon Colossus with unblockable and +2/+2 will hurt a lot.Infect was the way I was going to take her, Green to bring the infect and Blue to Proliferate. Even if they don't get the +2/+2 the unblockable + infect is just too good to pass up. Sure the Infect creatures are not that strong but you only need 10 poison counters #7 Nov 2, 2015 Blight Mamba might be a pretty good option despite seeming completely out of place. Pretty threatening with Kaseto and even comes with free regeneration.BTW, why would one even consider Marsh Viper, especially since Sabertooth Cobra is strictly better and still the picture of meh. Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things! On phasing:Yup. It doesn't change zones. It simply holds a sign up saying "I'm not here!" if anything comes looking for it.How do you achieve the state of "above being logical"?I dunno. You tell me. #9 Nov 2, 2015 You missed the artifact snake, Coiled Tinviper. [/fussbudget]But realistically, if Kaseto is anything to go by, I expect the blue portion to be mostly spells, rather than returning creatures. New blue snakes are fair game, though. #10 Nov 2, 2015 Lithl View User Profile View Posts Send Message Rules Guru Over 9000 Location: California Join Date: 7/8/2011 Posts: 11,536 Member Details Blight Mamba might be a pretty good option despite seeming completely out of place. Both give 2 poison counters, but Sabertooth Cobra gives the opponent an out for one of the two. Sure, Sabertooth has +1/+0 over Marsh and costs 1 less, but power means little to either of them when you're going for a poison kill, and 3 mana vs. 4 doesn't mean much to a green deck, especially one apparently playing the long
